Note: The variable timing gear on the intake camshaft adjusts the cam timing from 145 degrees to 85 degrees. As a result, the lift at TDC is changed also. Make sure you have enough free travel between the valve and the piston at maximum intake advance!
We recommend the camshafts be professionally installed.
There are two versions for the intake camshaft:
1. intake camshaft with for use with Variable cam timing system (like original intake)
2. intake camshaft with for use with fixed pulley (like original exhaust)
--> The intake camshaft for use without Variable cam timing is slightly different from the exhaust camshaft. It is possible to use the original intake camshaft seal.
