note: This part is finally back in-stock!

Since the release of the 2012+ Ford Focus, many owners have been complaining of the inadequacy of the lower engine torque mount. In an attempt to keep NVH from the engine transferred to the chassis to an absolute minimum, Ford decided to use rubber with a durometer that is way too soft for any type of performance driving. To our absolute surprise, they decided to use the exact same mount on the all new 2013 Focus ST. Unbelievable!

While researching into offering an aftermarket replacement, we stumbled upon an mount with a very similar build as the factory mount but with a much stiffer rubber bushing. The mount fit so well that it is almost as if it was the intended mount for the application but Ford decided to soften it up at the last minute. Lucky for you we have located these and are offering them at a great price. This mount is approximately 3-4 times stiffer* than the factory mount yet it doesn't transmit any noticeable vibrations into the cabin. We have tested it with great results and feel this is the ultimate replacement for any individual who races or drives their Focus aggressively.

*2-3 times stiffer than the Mazdaspeed mount

NOTE: There may still be some contact between mount and crossmember under a hard 1st to 2nd gear shift with drag radials at the dragstrip.

Installed mount last weekend to try and reduce "slop" noticed in 1st and 2nd gears when rolling on and off power. Definitely improves firmness of the drive train, makes shifting (on regular commute drives) between 1st and 2nd smoother without having to match engine speed so carefully. Can't really comment on clutch drops/speed shifting and avoidance of the firewall thud as I'm not that agressive a driver. No significant increase in vibration. Hard to understand why this mount was not OEM. Would recommend this mount as an excellent alternative to the flimsy stock mount. Thanks to CFM for making this mount available.

I have a Titanium Focus with 5 speed. I had previously installed the mazdaspeed lower torque mount but after a couple thousand miles it got sloppy. It didn't want to go with a aftermarket mount as I drive the Focus daily. I installed this over the weekend and what a difference over the mazdaspeed mount without added vibration.
