Description:
The Electronic Variable Controller from Snow Performance represents the latest technology in Water/Methanol system control. The controller is designed to increase injection pressure over a user adjustable range and quickly shut off when boost pressure drops to prevent misfire. No special MAP or MAF is required. The controller has a .2 to 5 volt output signal (denotes 2.9 to 36.3 manifold boost psi) that can be used for an input to other applications. The small rugged design and easy setup makes the EVC the logical choice for automotive/offroad enthusiast.
Operation:
An external hose barb is provided to connect the controller to manifold pressure. The user then sets two dials that are located under the lid of the controller. The first dial tells the controller what pressure to turn on and off. The second dial tells the controller the pressure where maximum injection is required. Once the two dials are set, the controller will linearly increase/decrease the injection pressure over the set range. Start pressure is adjustable from .5 to 8psi. The Full pressure is adjustable from 2 to 25psi. Note that if the Full Psi dial is set below the Start Psi setting, full injection pressure will occur once the Start boost psi is reached.
